you need a ground from your battery to body , this is most likey why your engine is not running.

when i was checking for a pulse , i used a side light bulb to see the pulse...if you have got a vagcom then you can use that to see the pulse aswell.

Thanks mate<
Do put a simmilar connector on side light and plug that into injector connector?
That be the only place for ground?

from factory the engine only has 2 ground

1)battery to starter
2)starter to body

and 3 lives
1) alt to starter
2) starter to battery
3) battery to fuse box (your should have like 3 small cables with rings on them)

i just put the wires from the bulb in to the socket and worked fine.

i can break down your whole car without using a vag com but you need to listen to the advise that i am giving you have a fuel issue that number three relay get rid of it. its not suppose to be there and 36 and 43. your ecu turns on your fuel pumps when its cranking it will send power to turn it on not the ign. i sent you a pm

Btw it runs now :| . It was an earth issue. I know it’s been a while but I had a wild job which consumed my life for a bit.maybe have some time for fixing the other issue like I Still have side lights powering the fan fuel pump etc!
