Would it make a differance if the wiring was finished i.e rad fan still to be wired?il finish off the car fit rad is all i need to do if no success then il try another module

yeah you will be fine mate you can sort it out later but it takes a while for the pump to shut off just leave it on and wait till it shuts off

Ok, so my aux. pump isn't running, I tried jumping the yellow connector and I still got nothing, checked all my fuses and they are all good. I hooked up the aux. pump straight to the battery and it works perfectly.....what do I do next, just run my own wires directly to A1 #7 and ground?

btw everything worked fine and the car ran cool before my fusebox got wet (don't ask) but I put a new one in along all new relays and now it overheats

unfortunately the previous owner who did the swap put a few relays instead of using the control unit which is why I am having troubles tracking down gremlins like this cuz he did that for the lights too

it's a obd1 dizzy VR6 from a '93 SLC

hmmmm maybe one of the relays is bad

you should talk to vwmoneypit. He has the same swap and could probably help you figure it out.

on the fan control module the small plug there will be number on the back of it the aux pump is pin 9 follow it and you should see a small yellow plug

I can't find that wire & I wish there was a fan control module but the PO just hooked up the fan, horn, lights and who knows what else to these 3 relays you see here:

I'll try & trace pin # 31 from that circle plug when I get home tonight, are they numbered on the circle thing or is there a diagram that shows which pin is which
