nitro neo gens :-)

backed out of my driveway and my ball joint popped out and seperated the axle.. bent the fender up quite a bit :-( still super excited about my tires.

haven't torn into the block yet. the replacement block is holding well. less miles 9psi should be fine.
currently seeking a larger turbo...

my buddy gave me a plate to make a short runner intake. :-)

precision 6766 .68ar exhaust

beast turbo for a vr6.
this should go great with my promaf and stage 3+ ECU +injectors.

adjusted my linkage over the weekend. happy to have 5th gear and no more sloppy shifts.
playing with a day boost controller in realize its time to get a bigger fuel pump.

was wrong above, i have stage 4 ECU and injectors.

Small update, ordered a walbro 255lph... should be here in a few days!

Made quite a few pulls last weekend,
boosted eclipse
brand new amg benz
a couple mustangs
a couple hondas
bmw v8
wrx

:-)

Killing them with the power to weight ratio right now... Really thinking about selling the precision turbo... it might be way to big to suit my needs.
this car will always be a street car i have no intentions on full blown drag car.

after my fuel pump comes in im setting up a race with a 2012 5.0 mustang... i guess we will see.
thinking a 60-1 or a gt35r
500hp max area is my goal right now im maybe 300 and it pulls hard with less wheel spin.

So, i put in the fuel pump, works great.
Could not boost past 15 psi and i was getting a knock in cylinder 5
Inspected my coil pack and it was cracked so i did the ford conversion.
Image
Still the car wanted to spit and sputter under higher boost levels so i began to make my SRI intake so i can start running my bigger turbo.
During this process i took the intake off and found out my current turbo had horrible in and out shaft play. left and right not so bad.... weird. like the bolts came loose.
On with some photos.

With the small blown turbo on the manifold...

Seems i have bent my fuel rain sometime in between pulling the motor a couple times... need to re-shape or re-place in order for my SRI to work

The 4" vband on the turbo exhaust is going to be cut off and replaced by a 3"

Image
The 2-3/4 cold pressure side 90 is going to be cut off and rotated for better placement.

The pipe for the SRI is on the way as well as the Vband flange kit for the turbo.

Throttle body plate cut out and drilled. Need to tap the holes. Since this pic I used a hole saw and cut out the center..

Got some parts in for the wastegate dump... I had to kick the wastegate over because it was hitting my downpipe. Now its looking down and I'll be welding it into the downpipe before the o2 sensors. Hopefully I'll have some time tomorrow :-)

If anybody still follows. I've got the welded stuff back and the install has begun.
Need to tap the intake for vacuum and intake air temp sensor. Straighten out bent fuel rail if possible...

On the back side I need to figure out the 4" intake...
