13.36 1/4 @ terminal speed of 113mph,
mk2 3.2 avec rotrex charger - not sure if this is classed as a 'vr' on this forum? :o
but nether-the-less another uk car ;)
just cant get enough...

1/4 mile experts - we all know the key to a good time is the launch, do I need more revs at the launch, or what?

My method = 3k ish, and just dropped the clutch... what's the best technique? :oops:

fixed it for you :whistle: lol

i dont rev at all, just wait patiently and when the light go 3/4 throttle in 1st, 3/4 for a bit in 2nd the wot, then wot in 3rd and 4th, i get some decent times, but i have founfd that it doesnt work for averyone :)

Thanks Keith - I'd like to see an in-car vid of how the fast Golfs do a 1.9sec 60ft time, the technique they use etc.

I've always found hot tyres, 3-4k rpm, bring the clutch up smoothly to control the spin in first then dump it into second and away. Works for me! lol

my quickest time on saturday at pod was

reaction- .44
60ft- 2.2
330ft- 6.1
1/8et- 9.4
1/8 mph- 75.5mph
1000ft et- 12.1
1/4 et- 14.57
1/4 mph- 94.3

i think i can get alot better times with better tyres p6000's are rock hard :(

yeh will be at fest , a little more boost not alot though should be in the 11`s, saving for some rods and injectors then the boost will be turned up properly , all hell will be let loose then :)
